                                 Carolyn

Carolyn’s journey began in 2002, stepping onto a yoga mat for the first time at the encouragement of her aunt.  Moved by the experience and eager to learn more, yoga quickly became an integral part of her life. With the guidance and support of truly inspiring teachers, she continues to deepen her practice.

In February of 2007, the path towards growth and learning was enriched by the opportunity to teach.  Carolyn is registered with Yoga Alliance, having completed her 500 hours of training with Raji Thron at Yoga Synthesis.  She also holds a children’s certification from Jeannene Levinson of Neney’s Yoginis.

She favors a flowing practice that is focused on the breath.  This transforming and essential element guides one gently and seamlessly through their practice, while encouraging proper alignment and a more fulfilling expression of each pose.

Carolyn is grateful for the blessings of yoga, and for the people it has brought into her life.

   Janet

Janet is a Certified Yoga instructor. She holds MS in Structural Engineering and worked in a corporate world before becoming a certified yoga teacher.

Janet developed her passion for yoga when she turned to the practice as an alternative treatment to heal her health problems. She believes that practicing yoga has tremendously helped her physically and emotionally and believes that yoga is beneficial for everyone.

She focuses on staying connected to the inner self with an emphasis on breathing, developing body and mind awareness, as well as the core strength, muscle tone, improved posture, balance and inner confidence.

Janet’s goal is to integrate the healing energies of Yoga to bring harmony to the body and mind. She encourages her students to listen to their bodies and work in a way that feels right and safe while having fun.

Janet thanks to all of her students and her family for a constant source of inspiration,  and ever lasting unconditional love.

   Brian

Brian's love of yoga started one evening in September of 2001, when, taking an after dinner stroll, he came across a yoga studio, got a schedule, went to a class that week, and has been practicing yoga ever since.

Brian is a graduate of the 300 Hour Lotus Yoga Teacher Training program and has been teaching since November of 2006.  He is registered with the Yoga Alliance (RYT-200). He is also certified for kids yoga (through Lotus Yoga) and prenatal yoga (through Mia Borgatta's Ma Yoga Program).

He feels blessed to have studied with wonderful teachers from various traditions, including Iyengar, Kripalu, Ashtanga and Anusara, but has since discovered that the best teachers are his students. He thanks all of his teachers, past, present, and future, who bless him with their teachings and guidance.

His classes range from gentle restorative to strong vinyasa.  No matter the level or pace, having fun and keeping a meditative mind are key.  His clients range from children with Autism to veterans with Alzheimer's.

In those few moments when he is not in a yoga studio, Brian enjoys traveling, playing guitar, surfing and various acrobatic pursuits which include flying through the air with the greatest of ease.
